This page covers SideKick Analyst only. For help with the SideKick360 app, use the support details on the main site.
Email support@sidekick360.net with your question. If you are reporting a problem, tell us what you tapped, what you expected, and what happened instead. That is usually enough for us to reproduce it.
SideKick Analyst answers questions from material you choose. You create an analyst, tell it whose thinking it should reflect and how it should reply, and give it the sources it should read. When you ask it something, it answers from that material and shows you which sources it drew on, so you can check the answer rather than take its word for it.
Answers come only from the material the analyst holds. It does not fall back on general knowledge to fill a gap, and when its material does not cover your question it says so rather than guessing. That is deliberate. An analyst that covers gaps with plausible invention is worse than one that admits the gap, because you cannot tell the difference from the outside.
It re-checks the sources you gave it about once a week, so material that changes gets picked up. It does not go looking for new subjects on its own; that happens only when you ask, using Improve, which is described below.
Tap the menu at the top left of the home screen and choose "Create a new analyst". Give it a name, describe the person or approach you want it to reflect, and say how you would like it to answer you. You can change all of this later.
In the same screen, under Knowledge sources, list the material it should learn from. The more specific the material, the better the answers. An analyst with three carefully chosen sources will usually outperform one pointed at everything you own.
The home screen shows a button reading "Ask" followed by your analyst's name. Tap it to start. Questions that name what you are after work best. "What did they say about margins, and when?" gives you more than "tell me about the company."
The sources you listed have not finished being read, or none of them could be retrieved. Choose "Customize an analyst" from the menu, check the sources are correct and reachable, and use Improve in the chat screen to add material directly.
So you can verify it. An answer you cannot check is an opinion. Every answer shows what it was drawn from, and you should follow those up on anything that matters.
Partly, and the distinction matters. The sources you gave it are re-checked for new material about once a week. If a page you pointed it at has changed or grown, that gets picked up without you doing anything.
What it does not do is go looking for new subjects on its own. It re-reads what it already knows about; it does not decide to research something new. So if a topic matters and you have not given it a source, it will not find one by itself.
To add something new, open the chat screen and tap Improve. It asks what the analyst should learn more about, then searches for material on that topic and adds what it finds. That is the part that only happens when you ask.
Choose "Customize an analyst" from the menu. Every field you set when you created it can be edited, and the change applies to the next question you ask.
Choose "Consult an analyst" from the menu to see everything you have created and pick one, or use "Switch analyst" on the home screen when you have more than one.
Choose "Customize an analyst" from the menu, select the one you want to remove, and use Delete Analyst. You will be asked to confirm. This removes that analyst and the material attached to it. Your account and any other analysts are untouched.
Tap the account icon at the top right of the home screen, then Delete Account. You will be asked to type your email address to confirm, because it cannot be undone. Deleting your account removes your sign-in details, every analyst you created, all material they learned from, and the questions you asked them. You do not need to contact us, and you do not need our permission.
Answers are generated when you ask, so a long question over a large amount of material takes longer than a short one. If you see an error, try once more. If it happens again, email us with the question you asked and roughly when, and we will look at what happened on our side.
What you type and the material you add are sent to the AI services that generate answers. The app tells you this before you use it for the first time, on a screen you have to agree to before continuing. Read the full privacy policy for who receives what, and email us if anything in it is unclear.
