What We Collect
SideKick360 collects the minimum data needed to provide our service:
- Account information: Your name and email address when you create an account.
- Contact data: When you ask SideKick360 to call someone from your contacts, the app looks up the matching contact name and phone number on your device. Only the matched contact's name and phone number are included in the AI request sent to our servers, so the assistant can place the call on your behalf. We do not upload, sync, or store your full contact list. No other contact fields (email addresses, physical addresses, birthdays, photos, or notes) are transmitted.
- Call data: Phone numbers you ask us to call, call duration, and conversation transcripts. Transcripts are stored for 48 hours for quality assurance, then automatically deleted.
- Chat messages: Messages you send through the app are processed to generate AI responses. Chat history is stored on your device and on our servers to maintain conversation context.
- Voice data: When you use voice features in the app, your speech is processed by Apple's speech recognition on your device, and we do not keep that audio. Call Shield is different: if a screened caller leaves a voicemail, that recording is stored with our telephony provider so you can listen to it, and is deleted after 30 days.
- Email data (Gmail): If you connect your Gmail account, SideKick360 reads your recent emails to generate summaries and draft responses. Email content is processed by AI to create your daily briefing and is not stored beyond the duration of the analysis. You can disconnect Gmail at any time in the app settings.
- Calendar and Reminders: If you grant permission, SideKick360 reads your Apple Calendar events and Reminders to include them in your daily briefing. This data stays on your device and is only sent to our servers as part of the briefing generation process.
- Usage data: Number of calls made, subscription status, and app usage patterns to enforce plan limits and improve the service.
How We Protect Your Data
- All personally identifiable information (PII) — phone numbers, names, email addresses, and street addresses — is tokenized before being sent to any AI provider. For example, a phone number becomes
[PHONE_1] during AI processing and is restored afterward.
- PII token mappings are scoped to individual call sessions and deleted when the call ends.
- All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
- Call transcripts are automatically purged after 48 hours.
- We may analyze anonymized call data to improve service quality. All personal identifiers — including names, phone numbers, and email addresses — are automatically removed before any quality analysis or long-term storage. Anonymized quality data does not contain any information that can identify you.
Third-Party Services
We use the following services to provide SideKick360:
- OpenAI — AI conversation processing (text only, no raw audio). PII is tokenized before reaching OpenAI.
- ElevenLabs — Text-to-speech voice generation for the voice assistant.
- Twilio — Phone call infrastructure for outbound AI calls.
- Google — Gmail API for email summaries (only when you explicitly connect your Gmail account).
- Apple — On-device speech recognition, calendar and reminders access, subscription management via App Store.
Each provider has their own privacy policy. Personally identifiable information is tokenized before reaching AI providers.
Your Rights
- You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us at Mail@sidekick360.net.
- You can revoke microphone, speech recognition, contacts, calendar, or reminders permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
- You can disconnect Gmail or any other connected service at any time from within the app. Disconnecting immediately stops all data access from that service.
- You can delete your chat history within the app.
- You can request a copy of all data we hold about you by emailing us.
Text Messages (SMS)
SideKick360 sends SMS notifications to the mobile number you provide
when you set up your account. These messages tell you about calls placed to your own
Call Shield screening line: who called, why, a spam rating, and a link to any
voicemail they left.
- We do not share your mobile number. Mobile information is
never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or
promotional purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties for
their own marketing.
- Message frequency varies. You receive a message only when
someone calls your screening line, so volume depends entirely on your own
incoming calls. Most users receive a small number of messages per day.
- Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may
charge for messages you receive, according to your plan.
- You can stop at any time. Reply STOP to any message to opt
out of SMS notifications. Reply HELP for assistance. Opting out of SMS does not
cancel your account; call screening continues and you can still receive
notifications by email or in the app.
- Consent to receive these messages is given when you enter your
own mobile number during setup, and covers only notifications about your own
account.
Children
SideKick360 is not intended for use by anyone under 13 years of age.
